The call now includes opportunities for both Master’s and PhD students

For the 2026–2027 edition, mobility for traineeships is open not only to PhD candidates but also to Master’s students.

Master’s and PhD students will carry out research traineeships

Please note that:

• Students will not follow regular academic courses.
• Mobilities are strictly for research-based traineeships: thesis work, laboratory research, academic research tasks, etc.
• All activities must fit within the academic offer included in our catalogue (https://uvamobplus2.uva.es/publico/courses) .

A precise match between the student’s profile and the research offer is essential

UVA academic staff have published the research areas in which they can host students.
For a mobility to be feasible, there must be a clear and specific alignment between:

• the student’s academic background,
• their research interests, and
• the proposed research topic offered by the hosting professor.

Applicants are therefore encouraged to contact the academic coordinator listed in each offer to clarify research topics and prepare a solid draft of their work plan.
