Enrollment is now open for two new CIVIS Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) developed within the PolyCIVIS project!
Both courses are open to Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from Europe and Africa and offer ECTS credits, international mobility, and the opportunity to engage in collaborative, cross-continental learning.
1. Enhancing Skills in Polycrisis Management: African & European Approaches (3 ECTS) : 8 May – 10 July 2026 (with physical mobility in Kampala, Uganda, 6–10 July)
This interdisciplinary BIP helps students to develop analytical and managerial skills to understand and respond to overlapping crises such as climate change, migration, or political instability.

2. (Poly)Understanding Polycrisis: Fragility and Resilience (6 ECTS):
4 May - 29 June 2026 (with physical mobility in Athens, Greece, 15-19 June 2026)
This course offers students an in-depth perspective on how different systems, from local communities to global governance, experience fragility and build resilience in times of crisis.
